Fans of the football simulation video game, "FIFA," would soon have a new thing to be excited about. Reports have circulated that the game would hit consoles in a few months and would bring with it lots of exciting features and gameplays.
With months away before players could get their hands on the game, many followers of the popular franchise have come up with their own list of things they would like to see in the upcoming 16th installment.
While Electronic Arts have yet to confirm if any of the things on these wish lists made the cut, rumors continue to circulate that have fans thrilled.
According to a report in IB Times, one of the major update reported to land on the game is a major gameplay change. In the past "FIFA 15," many players wondered why there was no handball violation which is a very crucial part of the real game.
Another gameplay upgrade is the goalkeepers. "FIFA" has always boasted of real clubs, real players, and real managers and while they were able to expand in these aspects, one important role has been left behind.
Fans complained previously that controlling the goalkeepers is a bit of a challenge in the game. Many would want to have more options with how to play the goalkeeper, noted Master Herald. In fact, some requested to have goalkeepers and other players to be as fast as those in real life.
Meanwhile, it is reported that a referee mode would also arrive in the upcoming game where gamers could opt to be a referee in a match instead of a player.
Real life football matches have always been very lively and animated and the past titles of "FIFA" reportedly disappointed fans. To address that, it seems that EA is considering a "more interactive crowd" with banners and chants rooting for their team.
One rumored feature that would definitely delight players is the "Try Before You Buy" option. This would allow managers or gamers to test a player for free before the team actually buys it to help them "save up their hard-earned coins," noted Venture Capital Post.
The upcoming title would also reportedly have a "Past Player Statistics" feature wherein past goals, assists, losses, wins, and even cheat sheets would be accessible to help managers evaluate a potential player.
"FIFA 16" is slated for release in June 2015 at the E3 event.
