The Nike Air Foamposite has been featured in a lot of varying color schemes ever since its line was launched. Its latest iteration boasts of an always popular red and black color way for the very first time.
Apart from the re-mastering of the Air Foamposite collection, Nike has already launched its Air Max 1 Ultra City collection. This particular line, which has a floral outlook, features six variants -each of which influenced by the popular, yet fashionably distinct, style capitals, namely, Paris, Shanghai, London, Tokyo, Milan, and New York.

Although they are both perfect additions to a shoe collection, they are relatively different from one another in terms of style. The Air Foamposite has been dipped in a vivid “Gym Red” color, which can be easily observed across the design’s signature Foamposite shell.
Despite its classic red hue, it still boasts of a rugged look further accentuated by a luxurious touch of metallic gold on the tips of its laces. Black accents can be observed over the shank, which is made of carbon fiber. They can also be found on the tongue, pull tabs, and inner lining, giving it a more attention-grabbing appeal, according to Kicks on Fire. Its outsole also has a red color which is in-sync with the overall theme of the shoes.
The Air Foamposite “Gym Red” can be found on racks in select Nike retail stores by April 11 at a price of $230.
Meanwhile, the Air Max 1 Ultra City collection shows off the representing flowers and local heritage of the city that it stands for. This allows each design to stand on its own once taken from the collection.
Although the design concept of celebrating cities with huge populations is not entirely new, the targeted female demographic of this collection makes it a must-have for collectors.
The shoes sport a different type of outsole, which was made with fewer materials compared with the original versions. The report said that this was purposely done to dramatically improve its flexibility and reduce its weight.
All shoe designs in the Air Max 1 Ultra City collection will be out in select Nike sportswear stores by April 11 at a price of $180. Sneaker News reported that they can also be purchased online from Extra Butter and eBay.
