‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Spoilers: Morgan to Appear on Episode 1, But What Will Happen to Him?

“The Walking Dead” Season 6 has been promised to be even bigger and a whole lot noisier, especially with the impending doom that the Alexandria Safe Zone is bound to have soon. According to the rumor mill, now that Morgan has returned to Rick’s life, things are going to get a lot harder for the show’s protagonist and the rest of the gang.

When Season 6 airs later this year, fans of the zombie franchise will observe a significant change in personalities from two of the show’s important characters. When Morgan and Rick last saw each other, Morgan was the one who was nearing insanity after the death of his son, while Rick was the one who was trying to calm him down, as pointed out by Cinema Blend. Now, though, the tides have changed and Rick is the one who has just killed a man in cold blood, while Morgan seemed to be a stoic Zen master.

The cast and crew of “The Walking Dead” came up with a plan to satiate the appetites of their fans and made a video. This video confirmed and refuted some of the claims that fans have posted about the show’s upcoming sixth season online.

“What I am excited about is potentially a reunion between those two great men and great friends, but also splintering ideologies,” Andrew Lincoln said in the video. “It seems like this is a man that is about peace now and Rick is the polar opposite. So, I think that that is going to cause a lot of conflict and confusion.”

That said, fans are now curious whether or not these two friends will be able to find common ground. Rick’s “kill or be killed” ideology might prevent the two of them from seeing eye to eye.

It remains unclear who or how Morgan was able to overcome his craziness following his son’s death, but what has been indicated was that he was led by a mystery person down a more mentally stable path, as reported by Cinema Blend.

A calm mind could be what Rick needs, especially as the apocalyptic series has somewhat shown what he does to people who do not share his ideals. Being the first acquaintance and friend that Rick made in the post-apocalyptic world, Morgan might want to figure out how to make things work with Rick. However, if he is not able to do this, he can easily leave the Safe Zone, which is now not as safe as it was initially marketed anyway.

According to a report from The International Business Times, “The Walking Dead” Season 6 will start filming by May, which means that more spoilers will come pretty soon.
