'Captain America 3: Civil War' Trailer & Plot: Black Panther Casting News Leaked? -- Details Here [Rumors]

As Marvel fans know, all the major film franchises under Marvel's Cinematic Universe are related and news regarding "Captain America: Civil War" has recently hit the web.

According to Latino-Review, Marvel is considering former Ghostbuster Ernie Hudson to take on the role of the Black Panther's father T'Chaka. While many may shrug off this possible casting update, the role of T'Chaka, king of Wakanda is central to the story of T'Challa or the Black Panther.

"T'Chaka is, essentially, the Black Panther, the king of Wakanda, until he is killed by Ulysses Klaw (or Ulysses Klaue as Andy Serkis is playing him in Avengers 2) and only then does our Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa, step into the role," noted MoviePilot.

Given this news, it may be analyzed that Serkis' character will most likely survive the upcoming blockbuster sequel, "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

It was reported earlier that Marvel has confirmed that the third installment of "Captain America" will mark the debut of the Black Panther/ T'Challa character, to be played by Chadwick Boseman.

Writer Stephen McFeely (via Inquisitr) didn't want to give too much away but was excited about the casting of Boseman. "I'll keep that one close to the vest," he said, "but I'm very gratified that they went with Chadwick and that he said yes because he's a good get."

"Captain America: Civil War" Plot

Realty Today reported earlier that the third installment of the Chris Evans-led series will feature a divide between the superheroes due to the Superhero Registration Act.

Central to the plot of the film would be Captain America/ Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Iron Man/ Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) due to the opposing sides on the issue.

To date, there is no trailer for the third film, but per earlier rumors, the first footage could drop in the fall -- as opposed to the rumored 2015 SDCC -- during a special Marvel event expected to take place. The film began filming this month and a fall timeline would allow the studio about 6 month to churn out enough material for a first trailer.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will be released on May 1, 2015 while "Captain America: Civil War" is scheduled for May 6, 2016. The newest "Captain America" film stars included in the flick include Evans, Downey Jr., Daniel Bruhl and Chadwick Boseman.
