With the finale of the "Walking Dead" season 5 recently airing, many fans are now looking forward to what the next season has in store for the group of zombie apocalypse survivors.
AMC recently released a video featuring the cast and crew of the "Walking Dead" wherein actor Norman Reedus said he thinks "Season 6 is just going to be total chaos," reported ComicBook.com.
In addition to this, showrunner Scott Gimple says there's definitely a lot in store for the group.
"Looking ahead to Season 6, I know a lot of what's ahead for the group, but I'm not telling you. Every eight episode, this show turns into a new show. That happened this season. The next eight episodes are going to be very different than these last eight episodes."
While most don't elaborate too much to keep fans guessing, another tidbit we we were able to pick up is that we could see conflict arise between Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Morgan (Lennie James), which will play a lot into the next season's plot.
Executive producer Gale Anne Hurd spoke about Morgan's possible involvement in the upcoming season. He remarked: "I think that that's going to cause a lot of conflict and confusion... I've got a feeling there's a storm coming. There are bad, bad people out there."
"Fear of the Walking Dead" Spinoff
With the popularity of the zombie-themed series, a spinoff for the "Walking Dead" series has released it trailer.
"Fear the Walking Dead," as reported earlier, is going provide a different angle. The new series will focus on the initial outbreak but is envisioned to be more than a prequel. Fans will be introduced and follow the lives of a different set of characters and experiences.
"We feel empowered by this two-season commitment, a serious show of faith from our network partner AMC," quoted E! Online of Robert Kirkman in a statement.
"I personally take it as a sign that they believe, like we do, that we've accomplished our goal of developing something original that can pay tribute to the original show and expand the world I created while at the same time having something new to say with this story. I'm very grateful that we now have the opportunity to tell this amazing story and show the fans that we really haven't scratched the surface yet when it comes to The Walking Dead."
Two season of "Fear The Walking Dead" has been ordered by AMC with the first season to have six episodes. The series will premiere during the end of this summer and the second season will air in 2016.
The "Walking Dead" season 6 is set to return to television this October.
