Kourtney Kardashian opted to be left behind while her sisters, Kim and Khloe, resumed their highly publicized trip to Armenia. It turned out that she had far too many things on her mind to travel halfway around the world.
“I wish I was in Armenia with my sisters on #siblingsday!” she wrote as a caption to an Instagram photo that showed her sisters having fun in their ancestral country “I did not end up going to Armenia because it was making me too anxious with three young children. I do wish that I could have experienced the trip with my sisters, but I do know that we will all go to Armenia together someday.”
Apparently, Kourtney had a lot on her hands, with Mason, five years old, Penelope, two years old, and Reign, three months old, especially with the negative press that Scott Disick has been getting. However, Kourtney was not the only Kardashian who decided not to be part of the family getaway. Her brother, Robert was last seen spending some vacation time with the family when he briefly flew to Florence, Italy for Kim and Kanye’s wedding last year.
Despite the absence, Khloe took to Facebook to inform her fans and followers that she got her big sister a souvenir from their Armenian trip – a certificate for a plot of land in Armenia. “Kourt and Rob, we got you a souvenir!! Land in Armenia!!” she wrote as a caption.
According to PEOPLE, Kim and Khloe met with their nation’s Prime Minister just last week. The Armenian Government did not hold back in praising the Kardashians’ efforts in bringing attention to the land of their heritage.
They were joined by Kanye when they visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial, which could be found in the capital city of Armenia. This was a very important visit for the family since the country will be commemorating the 100th anniversary of the mass killings on April 24.
“It was an honor to meet with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, who expressed how proud they are that we are proud Armenians and we have not forgotten our roots! #NeverForget,” Kim wrote on Instagram. “Khloe and I brought along our cousins, Kourtni and Kara Kardashian. We miss you Krista! Yes, we have three cousins who are sisters that all start with a ‘K’, too! LOL.”
Whenever the family is not busy attending special events within the country, Us Weekly has claimed that they can be found often surrounded by huge throngs of fans that have situated themselves outside the Mariott Hotel.
