CBS Network's comedy sitcom, "The Big Bang Theory," is once again upping their game in the series' storyline. Word is out that the show is finally introducing alien life into its upcoming episode and things are expected to go crazy when it does.
The show about the four geeks and a sexy waitress is currently on its eighth season and all of its episodes have not been lacking in the laughs department. It seems that the trend is expected to continue as the upcoming episode, "The Communication Deterioration," will touch on the four scientists' attempt to establish contact with creatures from outer space, reported Christian Today.
According to the IB Times, the official synopsis of "The Communication Deterioration" episode wrote, "In the event of alien contact, NASA asks Raj to craft a message for the extraterrestrials, and the guys battle over how it should be handled. Meanwhile, Penny must decide between auditioning for a film role or keeping her job in pharmaceutical sale."
Numerous spoilers have come out ahead of the episode and some of them revealed that the four scientists would work on the project to contact the aliens. Raj teamed up with Leonard to help him as he finds a way to do the project without having Sheldon and Howard take over.
Both pairs soon realized that their ideas are the same, so they agreed to work together. While they soon find peace in collaborating, a problem occurs when one of the aliens got ahold of one of Sheldon's videos. The extraterrestrial mistakenly understood the video to be the humans' way of waging war against them and decided to fight back and destroy Earth.
It has not been revealed whether the four would be successful in their contact with life from outer space, reported Master Herald. It remains to be seen also whether the producers would hire actors to play the role of an alien creature or the character would remain off-screen.
Meanwhile, Leonard's girlfriend, Penny, is undergoing a crisis. An audition opened for a movie by Kevin Smith and she is torn whether she should try out for it or keep her job as sales representative in the pharmaceutical field.
Penny reportedly took the plunge and was able to speak with other actresses during the audition, which helped her see a different side of her dream job.
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 8 would return with "The Communication Deterioration" episode on April 16.
