Fans of Hollywood couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively might soon get a sneak peek of the duo's baby, James, in spite of her parents' attempt to keep her private. Word is out that someone close to the couple tried to sell intimate photos of the new parents with their bundle of joy to the press.
According to Radar Online, a former friend of the couple attempted to make money off around 15 photos of Lively and Reynolds with their daughter. The seller reportedly tried to cash in on photos of the trio which were given to friends and family as well as pictures considered private by the couple.
Reports claimed that the photos the alleged thief tried to sell are those found in a laptop stolen from them.
Among the photos included showed a topless Reynolds holding and kissing baby James. In the photo, their daughter was reportedly still donning a hospital tag that has her date of birth written as 12/17/2014 and also of Lively's, which was dated at 8/25/1987.
A second photo also showed the "Gossip Girl" alum planting a kiss on her new daughter while a third one showed James sucking on Reynold's finger as she laid down in her bassinet.
The name of the couple's ex-friend was not revealed as well as details on how she was able to get hold of the laptop. No word has also been said whether the couple would file a case against the person.
No media outlet admitted to buying the photos and it remains to be seen if the culprit has been successful. The photos would be the first published of the duo's newborn daughter should it be published, said OK! Magazine.
The couple have been keeping a low profile since it was reported that Lively was pregnant with their first daughter. In fact, they kept daughter James' birth a secret and were very tight-lipped after Reynolds first confirmed that his wife gave birth already.
Reynolds first revealed his daughter's name while in an interview on the "Today Show," reported Yahoo.
He said, "It is Butternut Summersquash. No, it's out there. It's out there. It's James. Everyone knows and I told everyone who would listen that."
The "Deadpool" actor added, "Before it was out there I didn't want to be the first guy screaming it out to the media because as we know, little girls turn into teenage girls and the little teenage girls sometimes scan through the archives and go, 'Why did you do that?'"
The couple have yet to show a photo of their four-month-old daughter to the public.
