'iPad Pro' Release Date & Specs: Retailer Leaks Tablet Details? Yes, Also Three iPhone Models [Rumors]

Apple's newest tablet may have just been confirmed by a retailer. One of the most-anticipated devices from the Cupertino-based firm is the larger iPad, dubbed as the "iPad Pro."

ValueWalk has just reported that a German retailer looks like they have just spilled the beans on regarding the company's upcoming products.

"The retailer in question has apparently listed a several unreleased 2015 iOS products in its online catalogue, even though Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is a long way away from announcing any of them officially. Apple typically places its cards very close to its chest when dealing with new hardware releases. So if the retailer has genuinely let the cat out of the bag, we can at least be certain that it won't be confirmed by the consumer electronics giant for quite some time."

A screenshot of the drop down list clearly shows three new smartphone variants along with the Apple iPad Pro. In addition to three iPhones -- the 6S, 6S Plus and the 6C -- the public may be getting an oversized tablet very soon. The phones follow the massively successful iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus released late last year.

The recent website leak follows a recent French website release of what it claims to be the casing of the larger super-tablet. An earlier article noted that the casing implies possible dual speaker but the other jacks and ports will remain pretty much the same as earlier models.

However, it was noted that a space on the left-hand side may be for something different but others suggest it could be for a SIM tray for data-capable devices.

It is expected that the iPad Pro will be unveiled sometime this year as Apple's attempt to boost its declining iPad sales.

The iPad Pro, sometimes referred to as the iPad Plus, is rumored to com with LTE capabilities, a two-sized tablet option, Touch ID features, 2GB of Ram, iOS 8 and Apple's A9 or A8X processor chip. Color options for the tablet would be similar to the iPhone offerings of silver, gold and space gray.

Latinos Post reported earlier that we could see a stylus accompany the iPad Pro with the dimensions expected to be 305.31mm x 220.8mm x 7mm or 12 inches x 8.7 inches x 0.28 inches.

Stay tuned for more.
