iOS 8.3 vs 8.2 Features: What to Know Before Upgrading Your Devices!

Apple just released the all-new iOS 8.3, which fixed a lot of the issues associated with the udpates that went before it, namely, the iOS 8, 8.1, and 8.2. It brought with it approximately 70 new repairs for a variety of bugs as well as additional features that Apple users will definitely want to use on a regular basis.

Taking a look at what was revealed about this recently launched update so far, it appears that it beats its predecessor, the iOS 8.2, by a landslide.

According to The Fuse Joplin, the update applied several changes to the devices’ visuals. They may not be massive overhauls but they were guaranteed to improve the Apple experience.

The iOS 8.3 update can be availed by those who own the iPad Touch 5th generation, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini Retina, iPad Mini, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, and the iPhone 4s.

Any user of the aforementioned gadgets who have been experiencing some problems with their current iOS will have their problems fixed by the new iOS 8.3.

With this new update, 300 new emojis were added to the units’ emoji keyboard. A new Mac emoji and one for an Apple Watch were added, as well as an emoji with a bigger family such as one featuring more children. Some of the emojis were even developed to be racially diverse by providing options for skin color.

The primary keyboard used for text was also improved. To prevent users from committing the common mistake of hitting “periods” instead of the space bar to give a single space in between words, the iOS 8.3 update now has a longer and wider space bar. This makes typing on search engines and texting easier to accomplish.

Majority of the complaints that users submitted about the previous updates were targeted at Wi-Fi problems. Apple attempted to fix this bug by sending out the Wifried iOS 8, which made the gadgets disconnect intermittently from Wi-Fi networks. The iOS 8.3 not only fixed this problem but also improved the Bluetooth feature as well. Before the update, Apple device owners had to log in their information countless times.

Those who do not like the new updates can easily downgrade to the iOS 8.2. However, Gotta Be Mobile confirmed that the downgrade can only be performed for a limited time.
