Chris Pratt is set to headline the major film, "Jurassic World" and new stills for the movie have been released.
A preview of the newest "Jurassic Park" installment were shared via Entertainment Weekly along with new plot details straight from the film director, Colin Trevorrow.
It seems after decades and failed attempts at the park, people are bound to make the same mistakes as long as money is involved. "We have seen that we will repeat our mistakes if there's money on the table," says Trevorrow. "It's not about the danger of playing God. These animals are real, and they're on our planet."
Bryce Dallas Howard plays Claire, the park operations manager, who was behind the idea to create hybrid dinosaurs (Indominus Rex) to boost park visitors.
As we've seen in the trailer, Trevorrow shared, "There's a ride at the park that allows you to get into a gyroscopic sphere and be out in the wild with dinosaurs and travel beneath them-and that goes horribly wrong. Imagine being inside a sphere and then suddenly it breaks and you're rolling like a cat with a ball of yarn."
Chris Pratt leads the film as Owen Grady, an ex-military behavioral scientist who studies raptors. With the work that Grady does, he disagrees with the creation of new species and Trevorrow hinted that "They don't like each other at all, and by the end that's changed, we think that [classic conceit] absolutely can apply to a dinosaur movie."
Joss Whedon on "Jurassic World" Clip
While many await the release of the highly anticipated blockbuster, director Joss Whedon has commented that the film has "70s-era Sexism," noted The Guardian.
The "Avengers" director took to Twitter to express his views on the new clip (found below) which he believes contains stereotypes.
"...and I'm too busy wishing this clip wasn't 70's era sexist. She's a stiff, he's a life-force - really? Still? ," wrote Whedon over Twitter in response to a fanboy Blog The MarySue.
