A year and a half since "Grand Theft Auto V" debuted, the developer behind the popular video game is finally coming out with the PC version. While the game is pretty much similar with the one released in game consoles, this edition for computer geeks might soon earn the tag of being a "must-have" with its exclusive features.
Players who opted to cop the game in the PC version would be able to get their hands on extra components, said Game Rant. Rockstar Games revealed that the PC version would have its own video editor that any aspiring YouTube video blogger would find very useful.
Called the "Rockstar Editor," this tool would allow anyone playing the game to record a gameplay clip from the game. This option is allowed in both GTA Online and story mode of the game. The recorded clip could then be opened for further editing and once done, it could be shared to YouTube or the Rockstar Social Club.
The in-game editing feature gives players access to different filters, camera mode, and depth of field to help editors better document what they want.
In addition, it would allow them to select which camera angle they want to show in the video as well as add a background music track to set the mood. If the editor prefers a certain version of music, it would be a lot easier to edit is with the help of the audio mix adjustment tool, said Game Spot.
If the player is more of the make-his-own-video type, then the same tool could be utilized. The Rockstar Editor comes with a Director Mode that "allows users to direct their own scenes." Players are given the option to choose whether to have a person or animal star in their own video in whatever story and scene they come up with.
The Director Mode also allows the players to import game elements into their own videos, including weather, location, and time of day, said Game Spot. Texts could also be added into the clip.
If the video editor might seem too daunting, players who subscribed to the Rockstar Social Club would be able to access an online video editing guide in the website.
The "Grand Theft Auto V Online" would be available for PC on April 14 with an early release a day before in the United States.
