Good news to "World of Warcraft: Warlord of Draenor" fans as it has been revealed that the latest patch update for the game is just around the corner. The patch 6.2 is set to bring exciting new features such as a new Raid, upgraded difficulty level, "Mythic" dungeon, and naval vessels.
Patch 6.2 is currently available on the Public Test Realms, said a statement on Battle.net. This would mean that the developers have opened the update for gamers to try out and give valuable feedback that could help enhance their gameplay experience before it becomes officially launched as a patch.
Among the new features Patch 6.2 would bring is the addition of naval ships in a shipyard and for missions. However, only those with a level three Garrison could create a shipyard.
For those who are successful in constructing a shipyard, this feature would open a new world to the players as it unlocks a new zone waiting to be explored in "WoW."
The Tanaan Jungle is the new zone in the game which could only be accessed with a complete shipyard. Players could complete daily challenges to help add to the resources needed to maintain a shipyard. The zone is "open-world questing" that would see players hunt for rare items and treasures.
With players seeking a more challenging way to play Draenor Dungeons, the developers introduced a new difficulty level with the patch 6.2. The "Mythic" dungeon difficulty would let players complete the tasks with lesser number of people to add more excitement to the game.
The upcoming 6.2 updates would also bring a new "Raid" to the game. This would lead players to "assault the Hellfire Citadel," which serves as the fortress of the Iron Horde and is the home of "13 deadly bosses" that include Gorefiend, Mannoroth, Archimonde, and Kilrogg. More details about this new feature are to be released soon.
Aside from the new features, the patch would also fix minor glitches and bugs that peppered the game for the past months, said PC Games. Among the major change in the game is the removal of the Spirit of Harmony Vendors. They would not be able to sell Restored Artifacts after this update has been installed.
While all these are currently available in the Public Test Realm, it is not a guarantee that everything mentioned above would make it to the live patch, reminded IGN. No exact date has been announced for the launch of Patch 6.2 yet.
