‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Spoilers: Steven Yeun Gives Hints on Glenn’s Fate; Rick & Morgan Teaming Up?

"The Walking Dead" Season 6 will be returning to television in six months' time but show runners decided to appease the demand of their fans and revealed a few key details at the 2015 National Association of Broadcasters Show. Executive producer Robert Kirkman, AMC president Charlie Collier, and Steven Yeun talked about what fans could expect from the show's sixth season as well as Glenn's fate.

"If I go - that could happen," Yeun said, as reported by Fashion & Style. "The way that we make the show - the writers and everybody really want to focus on making things poignant and purposeful and meaningful. So, if it were Glenn to go, then it is probably going to be awesome."

Those who read the comic books know that Glenn dies in the hands of Negan, the leader of the Saviors. He brutally kills Glenn with the use of Lucille, his baseball bat, which he wrapped with barbed wire.

Despite this knowledge, fans are still wondering whether the show runners will take a different direction from the source material and opt to kill of another major character, such as Daryl, as a plot twist. Daryl's fate in the show is difficult to predict since he does not even appear in the comic books at all.

Kirkman then teased that Glenn's part in the series will be filled with "a lot of cool stuff," and also joked that they "do not kill the popular characters."

He also mentioned that Rick and Morgan have finally reunited after not seeing each other for four seasons. He even stated the way these two people, who both have newly found radically changed personalities, will work together and their journey will serve as the "spine of Season 6."

"It is the questions of how they are going to interact, how they are going to work together - if they are going to work together - and what comes from those interactions is going to be basically the spine of Season 6," Kirkman said, according to Christian Today.

Tovah Feldshuh, the actress who portrays the role of Deanna, revealed that she will be returning to reprise her role as Alexandria's leader when the show returns in October. She even mentioned that she will be having a significant part in developing the storyline of the AMC show's sixth season.

"I was, of course, happy that I did not die," Feldshuh told Yahoo! "Nobody ever wants to leave 'The Walking Dead.' You want to last as long as you can stay on it because the darn thing is just so very good - so beloved by its viewers - because it goes very deep into the river of what it means to be alive in this world."
