Move over Elton, here comes the Princess of Pop...
And, the good-natured British Icon won't cause any delay as he reportedly vacated the place less than 24 hours before Britney Spears moved in. That, or the 33-year-old singer just can't wait to move back to her swanky Las Vegas unit at the Palazzo Suite at Rio.
"The sheets were still warm when Britney Spears slipped into her Las Vegas pad" the TMZ wrote. Elton John called the 8,000 square foot luxury haven home during his stint at the Caesars Palace. He moved out on a Tuesday night and Britney was there by Wednesday morning.
TMZ learned from sources close to both singers, that the younger crooner is going to stay at the high-end property for her own gigs at the Sin City. "The three floor suite comes with 24-hour butler service, 2 jacuzzis, an elevator, and furniture on loan from 17 museums around the world," said TMZ.
Britney, definitely, has her work cut out for her with more than a hundred shows lined up as part of her Las Vegas residency. And it seems like the mother of two isn't complaining as long as she gets treated fairly.
But, to be treated fairly is something she didn't get during her recent gig when a man, as part of her Planet Hollywood show's crowd, took a shot at her, calling the singer a "fat b**ch," the DailyMail reports. Britney fired back and she was, then, heard saying "F**king a**hole" via an Instagram clip uploaded by an audience in attendance.
The incident took place at the latter part of the show when Britney was about to perform a song for the audience in deference to their wish of one more song. Her response to the parting shot thrown at her did not sit well to some fans who took to Twitter their dismay, saying that they heard the plural version "F*cking a**holes" that could be misconstrued as addressing the whole crowd.
According to Billboard, Britney debuted her single "Baby One More Time" at the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart on Nov. 21, 1998 and took the no. 1 spot after just more than a month. Her "Femme Fatale" album, which includes three top 10 Hot 100 singles, also made it at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart .
The pop singer, and occasional actress, is also well-known for her classic hits like "Oops! I Did It Again" (2000), "From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart" (2000), "Lucky" (2000), "Stronger" (2001), "Toxic" (2004), "Womanizer" (2008), and her 2013 collaboration with Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am
