Demi Moore Movies, Net Worth & 2015 News: Record-Breaking $75M Central Park West Penthouse Still Looking for Buyer

It's definitely not some "Indecent Proposal" that Demi Moore is asking in return for her San Remo penthouse. But just the same, the hefty price of $75 million is sure enough to cause aversion for many.

The sale of this triplex co-op property located along Central Park West, at that price tag, would go down as the priciest among Upper West Side co-ops. The home would not fall short in terms of its celebrity pedigree as it was brought by the actress with her then husband and fellow Hollywood big-name, Bruce Willis, from "Saturday Night Fever" producer Robert Stigwood in 1990, the New York Times notes.

The unit has about has about 7,000 square feet of interior living space and another 1,500 square feet of wraparound terraces with panoramic park, river and cityscape vistas from the 28th floor. It has 14 rooms "not counting bathrooms and nooks and crannies."

Also, included in the sale is a two-bedroom, two-bath maisonette on the ground floor, the New York Curbed also cited. It features an impressive living area with a wood-and-ceramic tile fireplace, 14-by-20-foot library on the southeast corner, and a south-facing dining room with an oversized crystal chandelier and a stone center island,

It also comes with a media room with 16-foot ceilings; and a sleeping loft, full bath, and kitchenette all on the mezzanine level. The interior design of the place is Southwestern Mission-themed highlighted by cherry wood.

The Roswell, New Mexico-native Demi Moore, who was named Demi Gene Guynes at birth, has a net worth of $150 million as per CelebrityNetWorth. She is considered one of Hollywood's A-lister actresses, commanding huge paychecks for her roles in films.

Her acting career took off to a higher ground when she was cast for those highly-successful movies in the box-office during the early 90's which include "A Few Good Men", "Indecent Proposal", and "Disclosure".

She also starred in succeeding films such as "The Juror," "Striptease," "The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Esmeralda's voice)," "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," and "The Joneses."

The luxurious tower of San Remo has become a landmark in the city with its twin-spires design by the famed New York architect Emery Roth in 1929. Dubbed as "The Celebrity Building," it has also been home to past and present celebrity owners such as Steven Spielberg, Tiger Woods, Donna Karan, Dustin Hoffman, Diane Keaton, and Steve Jobs among others.

"One of the city's, and the world's, greatest residential skyscrapers, the San Remo is the city's most beautiful apartment building and one of its most prestigious addresses," wrote Carter b. Horsley for TheCityReview.
