When everyone's favorite international man of mystery and 60's spy who "shioked" you is not out there to stop Dr. Evil, he'd probably be hanging out in his New York City apartment on the cobbled Mercer Street.
But, the posh penthouse may not seem to appeal too "shagadelic" for him anymore so he is trying to unload it for just a shade under $17 million, The Wall Street Journal is the first to report.
The loft-style duplex has a floor space of 4204 square feet, and is located within the highly-coveted Soho District in Manhattan.
It has three beds and four baths, and a combination of the building's 6th floor and the topmost seventh, which is interconnected by a contemporary-looking staircase. The interior of the structure is highlighted by huge floor-to-ceiling windows that allow plenty of natural light in, and a skylight to top it all up.
Renovations done by the comedian include the addition of built-in bookshelves with ladder and a customized sound system. The unit also comes with a roof deck featuring a well-maintained landscape and a dining area under the shade of a trellis for climbing roses.
Public documents reveal that Mike Myers got a hold of the property back in 2007 for $7.9 million, as told by the WSJ. The estate was still in its preconstruction stages at that time when the Canadian-born actor agreed on terms of the sale with the property developer.
According to Leonard Steinberg, realtor for Mike Myers during the 2007 purchase, the selling point of the home are its high ceilings that go up to the length of 14 feet, and the fact that the unit is situated atop a midrise building that stand imposingly over the surrounding structures one story higher, providing for an open view.
After almost a decade of stay in the unit, Myers decided it's time to have a change of scenery and ditch the place for another, says Steinberg, via the WSJ.
Other features as per its listing include a private roof deck, walk-in closet, recessed lighting, double-sink bathroom, hardwood floors, and soundproof windows. Other than Leonard Steinberg, Herve Senequier, also of Compass, serves as the listing agent for the property.
The CelebrityNetWorth made an estimate of Mike Myers' net worth and valued him at $175 million. He is best known as the funnyman behind some of the well-known comic characters on both film and television. But unbeknownst to many, he also earned his keep as a screenwriter ("Wayne's World", "Austin Powers", and "Love Guru"), film producer ("Austin Powers", and "Love Guru"), singer, and voice actor ("Shrek").
He also made appearances in films such as "Inglourious Basterds," "Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat," "Nobody Knows Anything!", and "Pete's Meteor."
