"Warehouse 13" star Eddie McClintock has already sold his Sherman Oaks home, a month after it was put on the market, reports Los Angeles Times.
Citing property records, the news site reported that McClintock purchased it in 2013 for $2.245 million. What was good about the sale is that the "Bones" actor pocketed $50K more from its listing price of $2,595,000 million -- in short, he sold the home for $2,645,000.
The listing agent for the Sherman Oaks home was Andrew Manning of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties, while it was Fran Chavez of Prudential California Realty who represented the buyer, notes LA Times.
The former home of the "Holding the Baby" actor was reportedly built in 1959 and covers a little over 3700 sq. ft. of living space, which includes five bedrooms, five baths, a home office, a dining room, and a modern kitchen. The Midcentury-contemporary style residence boasts of soaring ceilings and open floor plan. There is also a fireplace that captivates any guest's attention as one enters the great room. What makes this former McClintock home comfortable and cozy is its bright ambiance brought by its airy atmosphere and several light fixtures using recessed lighting.
Outside, new owners will be longing to dip in the home's swimming pool this summer. The estate also reportedly comes with a lawn and sports court for more interesting activities to try for the whole family. Being an artist himself, McClintock must have loved the scenery his former residence had offered. He will surely miss the wonderful views of the valley and the surrounding city skyline.
Successful career
The actor won an award as "Best Actor" in the Burbank International Film Festival in 2013 for the movie, "A Fish Story" (2013), as noted by IMDB. The website adds that he got to share the award with Scott Wolf who won for his role on "Imagine."
In real life, the Ohio-born actor who appeared in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Felicity" is a true-blue artist who loves drawing and painting. He has his own website that serves as his "virtual showroom" and "art gallery" and showcases his most personal paintings, drawings and even graphic art renditions.
On his website, he expressed his love for his craft. McClintock wrote, "For as long as I can remember, I've doodled, drawn, sketched and painted. My family would go out to dinner; I'd draw till the food came. If I was bored in class, I'd draw till the bell rang. Happy, draw. Sad, draw. In love or heartbroken, draw. For a great portion of my life, drawing has been one of my favorite emotional disappearing acts. It has been one of my best friends and my most faithful girlfriend (that is until I met my wife, who is the most loyal person I know)."
