The final movie in the "Hunger Games" franchise is due to be released later this year and a new report has estimated when the full-length trailer will be unveiled.
In a recent prediction by Projection List, the first official footage of the film should arrive this week along with the release of the movie, "Age of Adaline." According to Enstarz, the site has been a pretty reliable source of trailer release estimates in the past but there's also a chance we would wait a bit longer for the trailer.
"... It is highly unlikely that the trailer for the movie would release a good 6 months before it hits theaters. In the case of most movies, the first trailer is unveiled about four months prior to the film's release."
"The Age of Adaline" is set to premiere on April 24 and if the rumors and projections are accurate, we could see our first concrete look at the franchise finale during the screening of the Blake Likely and Harrison Ford-led film.
"Mockingjay Part 2" Plot
The story is based on the adventure trilogy written by American author Suzanne Collins. The books tell of the journey of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) who lives in a dystopia world called Panem. She along with her friends take on the Capitol led by President Snow (Donald Sutherland).
The team behind the movie, director Francis Lawrence has emphasized the importance of staying true to the story but also provide surprises along the way. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Lawrence said the two film will have "two different, very distinct stories" and spoke about the plot.
"Instead of changing the plot and changing characters what we did was have the opportunity to show scenes that could have been happening at different times in the book. For us it's world expansion instead of changing things. I think it's exciting for the fan to see certain things. So we've been able to open the world up in this and see some new places. We get to see some new districts this time and the scope gets quite large."
To date, no official announcement has been released by Lionsgate regarding the trailer arrival.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" will arrive in cinemas on Nov. 20, 2015.
Other actors set to appear in the concluding film include Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks, to name a few.
