The top 3 highest paid baseball players of 2015 are pitchers Clayton Kershaw, Jon Lester and Justin Verlander, according to Forbes.
Take a look at the homes of these top-earning athletes in their chosen field.
1. Clayton Kershaw
Kershaw's 2015 earnings translate to $31.2M, with the bulk of it, $30M from his salary and some $1.2M from endorsements, notes Forbes.
Kershaw dropped $4M for a 6000sq.ft newly-built home in Studio City, Variety reported in November 2014.

As seen in the pictures, the Studio City home is predominantly white and really looked immaculate even if a guest is standing from beyond the white fence. Variety notes that the home features an airy double-height central entrance. The Kershaw home includes a formal living room with fireplace, a dining room, a butler's pantry, a large family room, and many storage cabinets.
The Los Angeles Dodgers' pitcher home also has five bedrooms, a master suite and 5.5 baths. It showcases a home office that has a powder room and a relaxing view of the backyard. The master suite is spacious featuring a steam shower, walk-in closet, his-and-hers vanities and a soaking tub.
Another pride of the home is its modern kitchen furnished with Viking appliances and quartz counter tops, notes the blog. The Kershaw home also boasts a temperature-controlled wine room perfect for a night hangout with the other Dodgers. Outside, there's a swimming pool for the Kershaw's growing family and a charming casita with a fireplace and a TV hook-up.
Aside from this, Kershaw also bought a $1.95M Florida condo early last year, as reported here on RealtyToday.
2. Jon Lester
The Chicago Cubs' pitcher has 2015 earnings of $30.4M, including his $30M salary, reports Forbes. In March, he recently purchased a home just less than a mile from the Wrigley field, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

The Chicago Sun Times adds that the Chicago pitcher's new home covers 7000 sq.ft. of living space, featuring 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. The Lester home includes a bar, a wine cellar, an elevator, and a four-car garage. The home with predominantly white and beige combination motif also boasts a very neat walk-in closet and a modern kitchen.
Lester also bought a home in Atlanta for $3.4M in April that comes with a home gym, wine room, home theater and even a piano. See WCVB Home's published photos here.
3. Justin Verlander
The 2006 American League Rookie of the Year bought a Virginia home covering 9300 sq.ft. of living area, sitting on more than five acres of land, reports Celebrity Detective.
See photos of the Verlander home here.
The two-story Virginia house was reportedly built in 2007 and features six bedrooms, seven baths and deck. The Virginia home showcases a white and brown color motif making it fit the natural setting of the residence which is near James River.
Purchased just a little under $1.5M, it may look modest for a high-earning pitcher, but wait till you see his eight-car garage. In 2011, five of the slots have already been taken, with one of it used by his Ferrari. "As a boy, I had posters of Italian sports cars, including Ferraris, on my bedroom walls. I also had posters of Frank Thomas, Nolan Ryan and Greg Maddux. They were my favorite players," Verlander told MLive.
In 2014, The Detroit Tigers pitcher adds a Lamborghini to his car collection which includes a Mercedes-Benz, too.
