After a long wait, PC users could soon get their fill of the entertainment wrestling simulation game, "WWE 2K15." Word is out that the popular game is arriving to PCs this 2015.
A report in Wrestling Inc. confirmed the news and according to the site, WWE Games announced that the popular video game has crossed over and would soon be playable on the Windows PC.
Formerly a game exclusive to consoles, the PC game edition would include all features including the MyCareer and 2K Showcase modes. For fans of the game eager to know about the show's rich history and highlights, the 2K Showcase gives players the chance to relive select important moments in the years of WWE, noted Cinema Blend. Every showcase adds a playable character and arena to the player.
Gamers who would opt to buy the PC version on its actual release date would immediately be treated to bonus features from the developers. The players would get not one but two editions of Hulk Hogan and Sting.
Apart from these, the men in 2K wanted to recompense the players for the long wait and decided that all DLC packs coming to the PC version would be free unlike its console equivalent. That would mean at least $40 of savings for PC users.
Reports state that the upcoming expansion pack would bring in new moves to the wrestlers, instant unlocks, and the WWE Diva Paige. To make things extra exciting, ten wrestlers from the WCW Packs and NXT Arrival would also be included.
The free DLC would also bring in "Hall of Pain" and "Path of the Warrior" showcase modes, said Game Spot.
Wrestler John Cena himself knows how amazing the PC version deal is.
"That's an incredible amount of content: 36 extra characters, 4 new managers, 26 matches, 46 entire single player stories and cut scenes in 2K Showcase, and a whole lot more. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that that's a pretty awesome deal," said the wrestler.
No other details have been release for the PC version and players would have to wait for word on the PC specifications to know if they would be able to download it or they're better off with the console version.
"WWE 2K15" is coming to PC in spring 2015, although no exact date has been mentioned.
