'The Mask of Zorro' Actor Antonio Banderas & Oscar-Nominee Melanie Griffith List Hancock Park Home for $16.1M

"The Mask of Zorro" actor Antonio Banderas and Oscar-Nominee and Golden Globe winner Melanie Griffith have listed their Hancock Park home for $16.1M, reported Los Angeles Times.

The former couple's mansion measuring 15,000 sq.ft. of living space reportedly includes 13 bedrooms and 11 baths. The Italian Revival-inspired mansion designed by the famous architect Gordon B. Kaufmann, known for the Hoover Dam project, rests on a 1.5 acre lot. Inside, the mansion also features a two-story hall, a library, four fireplaces and a dining room with hand-stenciled ceilings. The three-story property also comes with an elevator to service all levels, added the outlet.

Outside, the sprawling property showcases the former couple's love for nature with its wonderful rose gardens and another garden for growing vegetables, the news site described.

The two stars, who stayed together for 18 years before filing for divorce, bought the house for $4.2M in 1999, according to LA Times, citing property record. In 2000, another set of real estate records showed that the couple bought another lot. The outlet stated that the property being offered in the market originally consisted of two properties that were combined. In June of last year, PEOPLE reported that Griffith filed for divorce from the "Desperado" actor at the L.A. Superior Court with irreconcilable differences as the reason. The actress reportedly sought "spousal support" from the actor and custody for Stella, their daughter. The actor may visit his daughter, added the outlet.

The two stars issued a statement via a representative that read, "We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost twenty years marriage in a loving and friendly manner honoring and respecting each other, our family and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together."

The Golden Globe winning actress who starred in the 1989 movie, "Working Girl," had been married for four times. She was married to Don Johnson, father of Dakota who is the lead actress in the movie, "Fifty Shades of Grey."

Banderas, on the other hand, was married to a Spanish actress named Ana Leza. In 1996, they divorced, after nine years of marriage--a year after the romantic-comedy movie "Two Much" was released. Banderas and Griffith first met on the set of the movie in 1995, which the actress said, "was love at first sight," About Relationships noted.

Meanwhile, Banderas has a new girlfriend, Nicole Kimpel, whom he met last year in Cannes but the actor denied that she was the reason for the divorce, Tribune reported.
