MacBook Pro 2015 Release Date Rumors: High-Power Apple Laptop to be Revealed During WWDC 2015?

While the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2015 would bring in the tech firm's developer community under one roof to talk about the "future of iOS and OS X," many fans of the Cupertino-based company are eagerly awaiting which products would be unveiled during this period. Word is out that a new MacBook Pro is on its way to be launched at the event happening in June.

With numerous devices under Apple's belt, it is unclear which products would be highlighted in the conference. According to IB Times, numerous speculations on what could be expected have already circulated.

Among the said products the company would reportedly unveil are the iOS 9, OS X 10.11, and the newest MacBook Pro.

It was less than two months ago when Tim Cook took the center stage to showcase the latest laptop his company came up with: the all-new MacBook. The retina version has been dubbed as the "thinnest MacBook ever" and is different from the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, reported Macworld.

In the upcoming event, however, it is rumored that the latest MacBook Pro to be shown would sport a 15-in display.

A change in the shipping schedules of the devices bought online sparked this rumor. From being "in stock" to shipping in "one to two weeks," some followers think the delay has something to do with the company preparing for the launch of the upgraded device, said Apple Insider.

Apart from that, another report from IB Times hinted that should the MacBook Pro be released this 2015, the focus would be on the processor and not just the size.

Intel recently hinted of the arrival of the 14nm Skylake Processor, which is one of the most powerful processors soon to be out in the market. With the new chip, some people speculated that Apple would take advantage of its arrival and install it immediately to the 2015 MacBook Pro for a significant update to its hardware.

If this is the case, then the upcoming 2015 MacBook Pro would be one of the fastest and most powerful laptops in the market when it is launched since the Skylake Processor is rumored to be "around 4.4 - 4.5 GHz OC clocks on average for the generic Skylake."

While the addition of a Skylake processor might be the most ideal scenario since the current 15-in device is outfitted with the Haswell processor, it might be more realistic to expect that the 2015 MacBook Pro would feature the upgrade to the Haswell, which is called the Broadwell, noted The Motley Fool.

However, all these are mere speculations for the moment and it remains to be seen if Apple would indeed launch the 2015 MacBook Pro in June.
