'Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F' US Release Date & Trailer: Plot Spoilers You Might Want to Know

The latest "Dragon Ball Z" movie is yet to be released in the United States but fans of the manga series are already looking forward to see what would happen next to Son Goku and his enemies. Word is out that an old villain would return to exact revenge on the most popular "Saiyan."

The latest movie, "Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F," continues from where the 2013 film, "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods," and manga ended. It would feature the return from the dead of Frieza, Goku's main enemy in the series, noted Venture Capital Post.

It started when the remnants of Frieza's army, Tagoma and Sorbet, realized their powers are waning without their leader. They decided that they would need to revive Frieza who initially returned in pieces.

Sorbet left for Earth to enlist the help of others to bring Frieza back to life. On Earth, he was able to convince Emperor Pilaf to use the Dragon Balls to fully resurrect Frieza, said Design & Trend.

Once he is back in a full body form, he delayed going back to Earth and instead prepared to train himself well. Frieza wanted to be in full combat form, so he could be ready when he exacts his revenge from Goku.

However, it seems that Frieza was looking to destroy two Saiyans, noted Latin Times. Aside from Goku, he has also set his sights to kill Trunks. With the help of an army made from more than a thousand creatures, Frieza then proceeded to battle the two Saiyans in this latest film from Toei Animation.

Meanwhile, fans would also be able to see Vegeta in the film and reports have circulated that he would finally be transformed into a Super Saiyan God.

What would happen between Goku and Frieza as well as Vegeta's transformation remain to be seen when the movie gets released in the United States.

While no exact date has been announced for its United States premier, it was reported that followers of Goku and the Saiyans could expect him on the big screen in summer 2015.

Since it opened in theaters in Japan on April 18, "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" has been enjoying an amazing time in the box office with its opening weekend a huge success.

It raked in around ¥ 960,586,350 of earnings during its first weekend screening, bigger than what "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods" got during the same period.
