Nick Jonas, a 19-year-old star, has leased a $23,000 per month apartment in New York's Chelsea neighborhood, owned by National Hockey League player Scott Gomez. The apartment was previously occupied by fashion designer Marc Jacobs.
The furnished condominium apartment has a terrace with an outdoor kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and more than 2,000 square feet of living space. With high technology, the apartment is equipped with six televisions and a lighting and entertainment system controlled by iPad; in the living room, there's a 120-inch high-definition movie screen dropping down from the ceiling. The apartment is particularly good for entertaining, said listing broker Andrew Torrey, of the Noble Black team at Corcoran.
Mr. Jonas is a member of the Jonas Brothers. He is currently starring in Broadway's "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." And Mr. Gomez plays for the Montreal Canadiens. He can catch a good view of downtown Manhattan.
