'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' 2015 Release Date: Game Exclusive to Sony? Yes, Says New Report [Rumors]

As news of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" development heats up, there is word that Sony will have exclusive rights over the upcoming games.

Treyarch and Activision have just unveiled their second teaser for the upcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" titled "Ember" and now, Charlie Intel has published a new report that suggests Microsoft may have lost marketing rights for Call of Duty to Sony.

According to the website, actions that have led to this conclusion are found below:

Exhibit A) Official Sony Twitter account tweeted both teasers and uploaded to their YouTube channels at the exact time they went live. Microsoft waited at least an hour in both cases.

Exhibit B) Sony hasn't uploaded a Call of Duty video since Call of Duty Ghosts.

Exhibit C) No Xbox One branding at beginning of teasers.

Exhibit D) Neogaf "Industry Insider" Kyoufu is indicating that the Call of Duty exclusivity deal has moved over to Sony.

With this new report, GamePur added that the delay in uploading to their channel was curious given that both PlayStation and Call of Duty both had their videos up simultaneously.

"This is a pretty strange development because for all previous Call of Duty games, Activision has signed a deal with Microsoft for marketing and (timed exclusive) DLC content," wrote the website.

A few weeks earlier, Activision announced that the new "Call of Duty" game will be released in the fall.

Game details (via Geeky-Gardgets) reveal what the game will be about:

"In the next 50 years, technological advancements will lead us into a world where only those who risk going too far, will find out how far we can actually go.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is the first title for next-gen hardware in the critically acclaimed Black Ops series. Developed by Treyarch, the award-winning creator of the two most-played games in Call of Duty history.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 deploys players into a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldier emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare.

With three unique game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies, providing fans with the deepest and most ambitious Call of Duty ever."

True to the previous title releases that features futuristic combat, in the new video we see that the game will focus on a future that is overrun by technologically weaponized humans that has brought about chaos on the streets.

As we progress further with technology, the lines of humanity becomes blurred. One thing is for sure, with the focus on biotic advancement, the game's vision for 2065 is quite frightening.
