The "Sims 4" expansion pack can now be downloaded by both PC and Mac users. Electronic Arts, or EA revealed that the "Get to Work" pack brings the gamer new and highly enjoyable career choices such as scientist, doctor, and policeman.
Apart from new in-game professions, Master Herald pointed out that gamers can also start to enjoy new skills and hobbies that their avatar will surely love such as baking, photography, and even alien-searching.
Gamers who choose to become doctors within "Sims 4" can actually deliver babies, operate on patients, and diagnose and treat common illnesses within the community. Police men can investigate crimes and also interrogate other Sims who live somewhat close to the crime scene. Once the culprit has been identified, they can make arrests as well.
Science lovers can also practice their love for the subject by choosing to become a scientist. They can research and even conduct experiments in laboratories. Through scientific research, the gamer can come up with certain data than may become useful to everyone in the community.
EA actually first announced that "Sims 4" was already in development in May two years ago. According to their statement, the game would have been available by early 2014. Sadly, the launch came much later than promised as it came out only in September last year for PC gamers, while Mac users had to wait until February 17.
The game has been getting a lot of attention of late that even celebrities owned up to playing the game as well. Iggy Azalea took to Twitter to show her fans and followers her avatar as well as ask them what her character should do.
"I can own a store in 'Sims 4: Get to Work!'" she wrote. "What should my Sim sell? Ideas?" This is actually not the first time the female rapper promoted "Sim City." As a brand ambassador, she regularly posts random details about the games in her social media accounts, according to Daily Mail.
The "Sims 4: Get to Work" expansion pack can be purchased for both PC and Mac for $45.43. Moreover, PC Advisor reported that gamers who have already downloaded the PC version, but now wish to try it out on Mac, can do so by simply using the product code that comes with the box. All those who bought the Mac version of the game will be getting a PC copy, and vice versa.
