'Croods 2' Release Date, Cast & Plot: Director Kirk DeMicco Lists Hollywood Hills Home for $2.6M

Kirk DeMicco, the writer-director of "The Croods" (2013), an Oscar-nominated movie for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year, has listed his Hollywood Hills home for $2.6M or to be more precise, the home could be yours for $2.579 million, notes Los Angeles Times.

The Hollywood Hills property of the director that measures more than 3,100 sq.ft. of living space features a contemporary design, the LA Times describes. The two-story home, although built in the early 1960s, has reportedly been upgraded to blend in these modern times.

The home exudes grandness with its double-height entry, complemented with an open area plan of a great room that encompasses the living and dining areas, notes the outlet. The home is rightful of its name as it is made cozy with fireplace and a modern kitchen equipped with a breakfast bar, as described on the site.

The luxury estate of the "Space Chimps" director boasts accordion doors and glass panels that serve as windows, allowing natural light to fill the room with gentle warmth and joyful ambiance. Meanwhile, "The Croods 2," the sequel of the movie DeMicco is known for, will be released on December 22, 2017, just in time for Christmas, notes IMDb. The plot is described as follows: "Prehistoric family The Croods are back to their old shenanigans in a dangerous, strange new world."

"The Croods 2," will reportedly feature the voice talents of returning cast members Emma Stone as Eep, Ryan Reynolds as Guy and Nicolas Cage as Grug. There is still no trailer available for public viewing released as of now.
