Actress Amy Adams is set to tie the knot with her long-time sweetheart Darren Le Gallo.
Multiple sources of publication Page Six have reported that the wedding of the couple will take place in Los Angeles this weekend. The ceremony is said to be intimate and will be taking place at a private and undisclosed location.
"Amy and Darren are getting married this weekend in Los Angeles in a ceremony that will be intimate and very genuine. The guest list is being kept very small and she has kept the location very much under wraps," revealed a source to Page Six. "[They] had always planned on getting married, but her career has been on such an amazing trajectory, it has been hard for her to take the time out. But now she has deliberately taken some time off work to be with her family and finally get married."
Adams and Le Gallo have been involved in a relationship for 14 years and were engaged back in 2008. They share one daughter together named Aviana, who will turn 5 next month. The pair met at an acting class in 2002 and have been involved ever since.
"I know he's just completely capable and lovely, and beautiful and offers something I could never hope to offer just in the nature of his being," quoted Hello Magazine of Amy in a 2013 Vanity Fair interview.
"We both have a very specific idea of what we want to do with this (wedding ceremony) in spring or fall, like in those months, but every time I'm busy working," added the redhead at the time. "I want something very family-orientated and laid-back."
Adams is set to appear in the upcoming DC Comics blockbuster, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" set to lad in 2016. She is also confirmed to participate in the follow-up "The Justice League Part 1" which will land in theaters the following year. Adams will reprise her role as Lois Lane (from "Man of Steel") and will star alongside Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman) and Jason Momoa (Aquaman).
Speaking of the upcoming film and Affleck who will be making his caped crusader debut in BVS, Amy is all praises for the new superhero.
"He is going to be his own unique thing. He's got a wonderful quality and a great body of work," commented Adams to the Press Association (per ComicBook). "I was only in one scene with him, I think I'm allowed to say that. So I didn't get to see much, but what I saw was fantastic."
She added, "We're not allowed to speak about it, but I just want to tell everybody everything. I've spoken about working briefly with Gal [Gadot] as Wonder Woman and Ben as Batman and had a wholly positive experience."
