Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Predictions: Freddie Roach Says ‘Pacman’ Ready to Win Against ‘Money’

The much awaited bout between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. will finally happen on May 2. Different people have varying views and predictions on who will win in what has now been referred to as the "fight of the century."

Both Mayweather and Pacquiao are training very hard in the gym especially now that they only have a couple of days left before the day of the match. However, for boxing coach Freddie Roach, it does not matter anymore what the American boxer has up in his sleeve for Pacquiao. Apparently, whatever Mayweather will do in the ring, the Filipino boxing champion will know how to respond, as reported by Inquirer.

Roach is not even worried at all with regard the outcome of the 12-round super fight. They already prepared a particular fight plan, and it will only be up to the People's Champ to execute his instructions.

Pacquiao is also as confident as his coach. "I am excited and 100 percent confident," he told BBC. "Any time I am the underdog - I like that. It means my killer instinct and focus is really there. Other people are getting nervous for me, but I am excited. This is the moment I believe he will experience his first loss."

Apart from being confident, Pacquiao is also reportedly happy - which is a very good thing. Roach mentioned that the boxer always fought well whenever he has a happy disposition. That said, he went on to add that the 36-year-old congressman has been in the best shape of his life of late. "Better speed, better power, quicker movement," Roach described of the boxer.

It was already announced by Kevin Iole that UFC president, Dana White, will be working closely as a boxing analyst with the media team of Yahoo! Sports. "We have Mr. Dana White to serve at the weigh-ins for us as an expert analyst - giving his predictions, giving his insights on the fight," Iole said, according to Bloody Elbow. "Dana will be working with us on Saturday, after the fight, breaking down the fight - what happened, what is next for the guys."

White, together with the rest of the Yahoo! media team, may notice that there have been some significant changes in Pacquiao's outlook in life. According to Roach, the Filipino boxer "is doing everything now."

"He is doing his homework," Roach said. "He would often call me to watch videos of Zab Judah and Mayweather. He has not done that before. He gave suggestions and showed me a couple of things. They would be of great help."
