‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’ Release Date & Rumors: Xbox One, PS4 & PC Version Confirmed! Dutch Retailer Lists PS3 & Xbox 360 Editions

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is one of today's most awaited video games. Fans have been waiting for more details regarding the game from its developers, especially after the release of the first teaser trailer earlier this year.

Studio head Mark Lamia revealed few key details regarding the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 platforms of the game. "There are no 'ports,'" he said, according to Express. "The game is made on multiple platforms. It is the beginning of a new generation and we are showing it to you on all these platforms to dispel some of the misconceptions about development."

"We are working on Xbox One, PS4, and PC," he added. "That is it."

Now that he officially confirmed which platforms Treyarch's version of the game will be, PS3 and Xbox 360 users started to become frantic. It would seem that latest reports about the game point out that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will not be reaching PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers.

With that in mind, fans were very delighted after a listing was spotted online. According to the Dutch online retailer, BOL, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be available for both last-gen consoles on November 16 this year, including gallery pictures and the game's box art.

However, the listing had already been taken down. Meanwhile, Gamepur managed to get a screenshot of the listing before the website removed it from the website.

To settle the confusion among gamers, Treyarch now made it clear to everyone that they are solely focused on developing the game for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. However, this does not necessarily mean that there will no longer be variants for PS3 and Xbox 360. The developer's statement only meant to say that any version meant for the aforementioned last-gen gaming consoles will have to be made by another studio.

Treyarch, together with Activision, also recently announced that there will be a multiplayer Beta for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" soon. Gamers who pre-order the game for PC, PS4, and Xbox One will be immediately given access to the Beta.

The "Call of Duty" gaming franchise has certainly become one of today's most played games. The game is set in a dark and gritty future where a new breed of Black Ops soldiers is being utilized. Eventually, there will be a battle between humanity and the military robotics that were purposely created for the future of combat.
