'Elder Scrolls 6,' 'Fallout 4' Release Date & News: Scrolls More Popular Than Fallout, Pushing Bethesda To Develop New Title? [Rumors]

With the upcoming 2015 E3 approaching, more and more speculation surrounds Bethesda's first ever sponsored showcase.

Two of the most anticipated new titles from the developer include the new games "Elder Scrolls 6" and "Fallout 4." As reported earlier, many analyze that it is more likely that "Fallout 4" will be unveiled prior to "Elder Scrolls 6" because it's been longer since Fallout received an update.

While a new Scrolls title hasn't been launched, Bethesda has recently unveiled the new "Elder Scroll Online: Tamriel Unlimited," which is believed to be the focus when it comes to the game line.

In a published report by BitBag, a source has revealed that there is more interest in a new title than "Tamriel Unlimited." In addition, "Elder Scrolls" games are enjoyed by a large following that includes gamers and celebrities.

With this in mind, CultureMob writes that with the popularity and demand for "Elder Scrolls 6" only continues to increase due to the first-ever hosting of Bethesda in the upcoming event.

"Elder Scrolls 6" Leaks

Per Design & Trend, a few weeks earlier alleged pieces of a leaked script mentioned Skyrim and a possible voice actor job listing. While the work could be about another "AAA Video Game Title," there is supposedly a mention of a hero "fighting war with Skyrim."

Earlier rumors pegged a March 2016 release for "Elder Scrolls 6" which is said to be titled, "Argonia."

E3 Event Teaser

Bethesda will be hosting its first E3 conference with everyone sticking their ears out for any detail on what could go down. As shared earlier this month, a new teaser image was unveiled showcasing a very cryptic and mysterious layout. In the image, we see a number of game characters but one game that was notably absent was "Fallout."

It's very curious what this could mean and the mystery has only continued to fuel everyone's curiosity. It could be that the "Fallout" will be on the main stage come reveal day, as some sources claim.

Typically, Bethesda takes a few years to unveil a new franchise title, approximately every four years. With this in mind, "Fallout 3" was released in 2008 while "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" was out in 2011. It would seem, based on this timeline, that "Fallout 4" may be the first of the two to get a next title.

This year's E3 event is scheduled for June 16 to 18 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Bethesda's event will take place on June 14 at the Dolby Theatre.
