The iPad Pro is one of the most anticipated devices from Apple and even though the specs haven't been officially announced, a new source has gotten hold of alleged schematics.
The full dimensions were shared by Nowhereelse.fr (via BGR) support the rumors that the larger iPad could come with a 12.9-inch screen. The iPad Pro leak points to a tablet with measurements of 305.7 mm by 222.6 mm with a thickness of only 7.2 mm or (12 inches x 8.7 inches x 0.28 inches).
Currently the iPad Air 2 comes in at 240 mm x 169.5 mm and 6.1 mm thick.
It was revealed that the schematics are dated December 2014 meaning it's highly likely these dimensions will be the final measurements for the oversized tablet. Based on the new information that has been unveiled, while the size and frame of the unreleased device is bigger overall, it will be thinner than the original iPad Air.
In addition, we can see that four speakers have been built into the ends for stereos, which has been a rumor that has been making rounds for months. According to Phone Arena, the device could have the single USB-C port, similar to what's on the 2015 MacBook Air with Retina, but it could also be the Apple Lightning port.

Other speculated details surrounding the iPad Pro include the use of the "7000 Series" Aluminium material, Touch ID features, 2GB of RAM, Apple's A9 or A8X processor chip, LTE capabilities as well as the iOS 9 and color options similar to that of the iPhone (silver, gold and space gray).
Lastly, much like what's expected from rival Samsung devices, next generation tablets are said to sport 4K display resolution, an improvement from the iPad Air 2's 2048 x 1536 resolution.
Apple is said to be looking at the iPad Pro to revive its pretty dormant line of iPad devices. The 12-inch device will target professionals and business applications thus the whispers of an "iPen" that the Pro could launch with.
No official announcement on the expected iPad Pro has been made by the Cupertino-based firm but it's expected that the upgraded iPad will be launched in the fall or sometime before the year ends.
Stay tuned for more.
