'The Walking Dead' Season 5: Alum Chad Coleman Rants on Subway Train

Former "The Walking Dead" cast member Chad L. Coleman was caught on camera publicly screaming inside a New York City subway train.

In the details provided by TMZ, the actor who played the role of Tyreese on the popular zombie show was triggered by rude comments made by a pair of commuters. In the rant, he screams about who he is and the roles that he's played, namely his time on "The Wire" and "The Walking Dead."

TMZ reports that upon speaking to Coleman, he recants overhearing a man and woman on the train try to figure out where they knew him from. He then claimed that the man said to the woman, "No, we don't know that n*****," which triggered his reaction.

The three minute long footage of the scene records Coleman saying, "I wanna know where my humanitarians are. Yes! I'm Chad L. Coleman! I'm on The Wire, I'm on The Walking Dead, I'm not trying to play no fu---ng games with you! Yes, I'm an actor! You want me on TMZ, record it."

He also adds that comments made regarding humanity were a reference to the current problem and riots happening in Baltimore.

Within the same day, the actor took to Twitter and posted:

"The Walking Dead"

Coleman's character died on the series during the fifth season of the show, in episode nine titled, "What Happened and What's Going On."

Variety spoke to the TV star about his conclusion in the series and shared about how Tyreese's finale unravelled.

"I found out three episodes prior, which I was grateful for. A lot of (cast and crewmembers) wanted to express some wonderful sentiments to me about my demise, so I was able to get a lot of that out of the way. I don't mean that in a callous way. Honestly I was just happy to be able to focus fully on the work once we got to that point."

He recalled that after the birth of his son, showrunner Scott Gimple told him over the phone that he needed to come in to discuss the show.

When they eventually saw each other, Gimple said, "Well, the time has come for Tyreese." At first he didn't believe it and said, "Scott, stop playing, stop playing." When it was finally confirmed and it sunk in, he thought to himself, "OK, this is real" and could pretty much only say "wow."

"The Walking Dead" Season 6 returns in October and spinoff series, "Fear The Walking Dead" Season 1 begins in the summer.
