Less than a week since "WWE 2K15" hit the PC and fans of the wrestling simulation video game are already talking about its next release. Word is out that new features and modes would arrive for the "WWE 2K16" and would see the return of the "Create-A-Finisher" custom option.
"WWE 2K15" is doing so well in the market with a lot of upcoming DLC slated to come out soon. Its success is clearly manifested by the number of people anticipating a bigger and better upcoming release.
According to Game Ranx, while the current title out in the market is enjoying optimistic response, there are still many things that could be improved on and added. It seems that the game's developer, 2K Games, echoes the same sentiment as it recently hinted of possible additions to the upcoming title.
One of the anticipated features for "WWE 2K16" is the return of the customization option, called "Create-A-Finisher." When the "WWE 2K15" came out in 2014, many of its creation modes were removed, reported The Inquistr.
Options, such as "Create-A-Diva," "Create-A-Finisher," "Create-An-Arena," and "Create-A-Title," were missing - much to the fans disappointment. Moreover, 2K Games offered no reason for this and fans were left wanting more from the game.
However, while not all creation modes would see the light of day back in "WWE 2K16," wrestler Chase Stevens confirmed that "Create-A-Finisher" is coming back including a lot of new animations.
Stevens, along with Low Ki, Kaval, Senshi, Damien Sandow, and Cesaro, were all called in to do motion capture for the game to "recreate certain moves of their superstars."
Aside from the custom option, it is rumored that the upcoming title would get a new "body system." In a report by Segment Next, the upgraded system would allow players to strike any body part of its opponent with the use of weapons. As soon as it hits, the player would react and hold its head or limp away. The upgrade is set to make things inside the ring more realistic.
Meanwhile, players could also soon celebrate their wins in a different manner as 2K games upgraded and installed new animations for celebrating victories.
One concern fans hope to be addressed in the new title is the number of wrestlers in the roster. It was noticed that the characters have been decreasing for every new title released, reported Crossmap. Fans hope that Hall of Fame characters would be added to the roster for the number of players to exceed 100.
"WWE 2K16" is set to be unveiled in the E3 event happening in June, while the release dates to current generation consoles and PC are scheduled at a later date.
