Green Bay Packers Tackle Bryan Bulaga Lists Florida Home

Bryan Bulaga of the Green Bay Packers has just listed his home in Bradenton, Florida. Although the rumor mill went into overdrive with speculations that the tackler was going to spend more time in the Midwest, it appears that the athlete would much rather bask under the balmy climes of Florida.

The former first round pick reportedly transferred to a $2.4 million mansion in a nearby tony golf community, The Concession, as reported by Bradenton Herald. The property that Bulaga and his wife, Abigail, chose was formerly owned by the ex-wife of an Indiana steel magnate.

It was a 6,900-square-foot home on Ganton Avenue in The Concession. According to the real estate records of Manatee County, its previous owner was Carol Busse. The house has a massive garage that can hold up to four cars, its own elevator, and a huge swimming pool with an outdoor kitchen. Its interior has been ornately decorated with French and Venetian décors.

Busse used to be married to the co-founder and chairman of Steel Dynamics, Keith Busse, and decided to sell the house to the football athlete. She purchased the expensive property in 2004 for $550,000. Apart from this particular mansion, county records stated that before they separated, they also had another estate in Chancery Place in University Park in their possession.

Since Bulaga opted to purchase this particular mansion, social media is now abuzz with reports that the football pro has now become more accustomed to Southern temperatures, according to Realtor.

Bulaga was actually the 23rd pick in the first round of the NFL draft in 2010. Having just completed free agent negotiations to make a comeback to the Packers for yet another five years, the tackler may have gotten as good a deal on his newly bought residence as he did with his reported $8 million signing bonus.

The Bradenton home that he just put on the market also has a lot to offer. It has a circular driveway made of bricks and a grand entryway with two-storey columns. Whenever he needs to relax after a long football game, his previous home has a glassed-in swimming pool as well as an outdoor kitchen that boasts of its own gas grill.

At 3,380 square feet, Bulaga's former residence has four bedrooms and a huge gourmet kitchen. The countertops are made of granite and the appliances are primarily made of stainless steel. The kitchen's sliding doors open directly to the patio for that sunny Florida experience.
