"FIFA 2015" has only been out in the market for less than a year but fans of the popular soccer simulation video game are already eager to see what's in store for the next title in the franchise. It seems that fans need not wait long as reports have circulated that the developer Electronic Arts (EA) is ready to unveil the game in time for a September release.
According to Master Herald, the highly anticipated next iteration in the "FIFA" series is arriving soon. EA is rumored to launch the upcoming title in the E3 conference scheduled in June 2015.
The company already revealed details of its own press conference to unveil new titles in the said event, which is scheduled on June 15, noted IGN. Many are expecting that "FIFA 16" would be included in the list. However, the company has yet to make an official announcement regarding their new titles for E3.
Should the reports prove to be true, then fans could also expect a September market release for the video game.
FIFA Game News published a report that listed the "estimated 'FIFA 16' release dates." It noted that the rumored launch for the game in North America is on Sept. 22. Other regions, excluding Brazil, would also reportedly release the game starting September 2015. Brazil is said to have it on stock beginning October.
While the site gave exact dates for when fans could expect the title, it noted that "the 'FIFA 16' release date indicated in the article is merely indicative." As such, the release dates could still change.
Meanwhile, players are already excited to see improvements and enhancements to the game.
A post in Full FIFA noted some rumors that have cropped up in relation to the game. One thing that fans expect to see is the addition of the "handball" violation that was not included in the previous title.
It also noted that the developers could make the crowd more lively and interactive. This could come in the form of banners, flags, and even chants to make it more realistic.
Fans of the game also speculated on a new "story mode" after they noticed an advertisement posted on EA's career site looking for a Narrative Designer, said The Inquistr.
All these updates and rumored improvements remain to be seen when EA finally unveils the game.
