Madison Square Garden will provide more than $40,000 a seat for fans wanting to see Knicks and Rangers home game next season, according to the Wall Street Journal reported.
The Garden will open the Madison Club and another 176 luxury seats next. Individual tickets start at $42,500 one year and they will be sold in the package of two or four. Different from the traditional ones, this package can have access to about 10 corporate suites. The club will offer free gourmet food, including a private bar and private restrooms.
"Tickets for the Madison Club have been on sale for 3 weeks and have been sold well. Now the Madison Club is in progress, and it will be completed by the 2013-14 season." Mr O'Neil, president of MSG Sports said.
