'Dragon Ball Xenoverse' DLC Update: Free 'Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F' Costume Pack Out

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse" players waiting for the arrival of the animated film, "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F," to the big screen this summer could finally be able to get their hands on a piece of the Japanese movie. Word came out that the developer behind the popular console game has given players a "Resurrection F Costume Pack" for free.

Game developer Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the arrival of the expansion pack on its official blog site.

According to the site, the new DLC would bring in three costumes to customize the player's characters in the game. The pack includes the costumes of both Goku and Vegeta in the upcoming film.

It also has the extra blue movie wig that Goku donned when he became a Super Saiyan for further enhancements of the character's look, reported Cinema Blend.

While the new costume does not really differ from previous outfits worn by Goku and Vegeta, there is an added design that carries the name of the two's trainer.

Meanwhile, fans speculated that the blue wig would signify Goku's hairstyle in the upcoming movie where he was rumored to achieve yet another level of a god. The lead character in the animated series already became a Super Saiyan God in the last "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods."

According to Game Informer, "SSGSS" stands for Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. This level is attained when "a Saiyan who gains the power of a Super Saiyan God transforms into a Super Saiyan." This is reportedly the new change that Goku would undergo in the next film to defeat Frieza, who came back to exact vengeance from him.

The new expansion pack would differ from the upcoming third DLC in the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse," said IB Times.

Players in Japan got an earlier version of the new costume DLC, which now found its way to gamers located in the Northern America and European regions.

The new "Resurrection F Costume Pack" is available to both last and current generation PlayStation and Microsoft consoles. Gamers who are playing the game via Steam for PC do not need to download it, as it has already been included in the Season Pass.

Those who do not have a Season Pass could still get their hands on the new DLC by registering into the website to get the download code.

"Resurrection F Costume Pack" for the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" is already available for download to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
