'Gran Turismo 7' PS4 Gameplay Release Date: Former Microsoft Employee Working on 'GT7' Audio?

It seems that Sony PlayStation is intent on making the upcoming "Gran Turismo 7" title the best to come out for the franchise. Reports came out that the gaming development firm Polyphony Digital recently hired a new audio director from Microsoft to work on the upcoming title.

According to the PlayStation Lifestyle blog, Polyphony Digital employed Mike Cavieziel to work on the latest iteration of the "Gran Turismo" game. The new audio director of the game was formerly connected with Microsoft and moved companies in April 2015.

The website noted Caviezel's LinkedIn profile to have revealed his move. He was previously the audio lead for "Forza Motorsports," a racing video game that was exclusively released to Microsoft consoles. The audio designer is now working with "Gran Turismo 7."

Caviezel seems to be the best option for Polyphony if it is intent on overpowering "Driveclub" as the top car racing video game for Sony out in the market, said Master Herald.

The audio designer has had numerous titles under his belt and has worked on more than one exclusive title for Microsoft including "Halo 4," "Ryse: Son of Rome," and "Fable: The Journey."

According to his LinkedIn profile, he has also been employed with Turn10 Studios and Sierra Entertainment.

With Caviezel's involvement in the game, fans speculate an improved and better audio quality for the title. The game has suffered from poor sound of cars and with his expertise, that might soon change, noted Attack of the Fanboy.

"Gran Turismo" has been consistently a fan favorite but experienced a slowdown in support when it was released to the PS3 console.

Now that it's being prepared for the current generation console exclusively, the developers at Polyphony Digital promised enhancements that would bring it once again to the top PS4 games ever made.

Among the changes rumored to arrive at the title is the inclusion of a far more realistic and thrilling race course. This pertains to the iconic Isle of Man's Mountain Course, which is reportedly being tapped as the highlight of the upcoming "Gran Turismo 7."

With the developers working only on the specs of the PS4, it could mean that all stops would be pulled to ensure that its features are maximized for the game.

Polyphony is also not skimping on the graphics quality of the upcoming game to make the experience more realistic.

"Gran Turismo 7" is reportedly coming out in 2017.
