Harry Styles' involvement with today's top boy band, One Direction, has been targeted by tabloids ever since news of Zayn Malik's decision to quit the group first came out. Today, newer rumors state that the British Casanova might actually give in to what the tabloids have been saying and quit 1D - that is, if Malik and Louis Tomlinson do not fix their feud as soon as possible.
Those watching the boys closely may have noticed a Twitter war between Tomlinson and Malik recently. According to a source, Styles is not happy with the way his friends have been going head to head lately.
"To be honest, this kind of crap is the one thing that could push Harry out the door," the source told Hollywood Life. "He wants to be known for the music - not childish fights. He has been committed to stay for, at least, one more album, but would rather go on his own if these kinds of things continue."
If ever such rumor would turn out to be true, the report also mentioned that his loyal fans will not blame Styles for deciding to leave the band. After all, what the British heartthrob truly cares about his making fantastic music that everyone loves and he absolutely does not want to have anything to do with petty drama.
"He just wants Zayn and Louis to calm down and let it rest," added the tipster. "He knows they will realize how silly they are behaving if they stop reacting emotionally."
Although rumors of Styles wanting to quit have been quite rampant as of late, former NSYNC member, Lance Bass, has one very important piece of advice to give the 1D heartthrob. "If Harry wants to go solo, go solo eventually," he told Hollywood Life in a separate report. "But, for the fans, I would say that Harry should stick it out for a little bit - not leave and, at least, do another album together."
"Harry needs to do it for the fans," Bass added. "I think he owes it to them." It looks like Bass is discreetly telling Styles to endure the drama and advised that leaving the band would be a bad idea.
Although Styles' fans have been very understanding about everything that has been shrouding the band lately, they would reportedly still support him if ever he did decide to leave. However, as noted in multiple online reports, the drama between Tomlinson and Malik might be the biggest reason to push him to make that decision.
