The sequels of "Fifty Shades of Grey" has been confirmed and now, new reports are swirling that the studio is ready to give fans more of Jamie Dornan.
In the first film released earlier this year, the Northern Irish actor didn't bare all of himself but in the second installment, "Fifty Shades Darker," The Irish Examiner reported that Universal is willing to offer the 33-year-old $1.5 million to show "more" of himself.
"Full frontal male nudity is still a pretty rare thing in studio pictures, especially from recognisable stars but Fifty Shades is a very unique property. But that doesn't mean it's going to be an easy task to get it to happen, - reportedly Universal is willing to pay Dornan $1.5 million to expose himself for the camera. And that's just a starting offer."
In addition, Star Magazine (via Inquisitr) has reported that the hunky star has reservations about baring it all for the camera but producers are assuring him the scenes will be tastefully done.
"They have assured Jamie that it won't be overt but more of a brief tease - and he'll have some creative control over how it's handled."
The publication went on the report that the story of the second book is "very sex driven" and given the nature and personality of Grey's character, the actor must be extremely comfortable with the nude scenes.
As reported last month, the two sequels were confirmed during CinemaCon to be released on Valentine's Day in 2017 and 2018. "We're making this a Valentine's Day event," quoted Variety of Universal Pictures chair Donna Langley during CinemaCon.
It was already announced earlier that director Sam Taylor-Johnson won't be returning for the sequels due to reported clashes with "Fifty Shades" author E.L. James. In addition, the script will be written by Niall Leonard, the husband of James, who wrote for the first film but wasn't given credits.
With Leonard taking the reigns for sequel's script, it will be intersting to see the direction the movie will take this time around.
Aside from Dornan, his lead co-star Dakota Johnson -- playing the role of Anastasia Steele -- is set to return for the sequels. Filming for the second installment has yet to begin production.
