"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" is already in its production stages, and rumor has it that one particular scene, or maybe even more, will feature some of today's basketball stars. It was previously reported that a handful of players from the Los Angeles Clippers will be making a cameo appearance in the sequel.
It was only until Arash Markazi of ESPN confirmed on social media that the fans found out which particular players will be part of the film. "DeAndre Jordan, Matt Barnes, JJ Redick, Austin Rivers & Spencer Hawes will be filming a scene for 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2' tomorrow," Markazi wrote on Twitter.
Now, a newer set of reports regarding the upcoming sequel pointed out that someone from the New York Knicks has also been selected to make a cameo. According to Daily Mail, Carmelo Anthony was spotted on the set, shooting his own scene.
In the leaked set images, the Knicks forward was looking quite dapper in a suit and tie. However, Syracuse pointed out that it remains unclear whether he will be portraying himself or a different movie character.
Fellow NBA icon, Redick, also revealed to his fans and followers that he will be part of the upcoming adventure-filled blockbuster. It was actually Redick who disclosed that the subtitle of the franchise's second installment is going to be "Half Shell," as reported by Cinema Blend. According to the report, he leaked the movie's official title to The Lowe Post and even told them about how he shot a scene with some of his fellow Clippers and the Knicks at the Madison Square Garden.
At present, production is underway in Buffalo but the film's lead cast, which include Will Arnett from "The Millers" as Vern Fenwick, Stephen Amell from "Arrow" as Casey Jones, and Megan Fox from "Transformers" as April O'Neil, are still in New York City.
Victoria's Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio was also spotted on the set of the film. However, instead of donning a skimpy bikini, her famous physique was hidden in a humongous padded jacket as the Brooklyn temperature that day was far too cold for the California-based supermodel. Her role will reportedly be the girlfriend of Arnett's character.
Apparently, the costume she concealed under her massive clothing was a silver sequined dress that had a plunging neckline. She was wearing Ugg boots to keep her feet warm but once she is about to enter a scene, it looks like she was ready to slip into a pair of pale pink stilettos that she carried around with her.
