"GTA 6" Rumors and News
As reported earlier by Realty Today, there is speculation that the popular action-adventure franchise will be including a female protagonist, something games are sure to be excited about.
According to Dan Houser who responded to questions regarding GTA 5, he explained that there was no lead female character because it wasn't the right time (as quoted by GTA6GrandTheftAuto.com:
"We didn't really think about it this time, that's not to say that we couldn't or we wouldn't. This character set is just what came to us: it wasn't,..In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course. We just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things that we always think about. It didn't feel natural for this game but definitely for the right game in the future - with the right themes, it could be fantastic. But for 'GTA V', this was the organic thing that came up, these were the characters what would display the themes we wanted to think about."
In addition, with regards to the location of the game, Master Herald adds that the most prominent rumors indicate a Europe setting but Venture Capital Post shares that there is also speculation the next location could be Brazil or Las Vegas in addition to Paris and London.
Air Herald has reported a possible plot for the next-gen title that will take gamers to Mexico. The rumor indicates that the game will revolve around the Mexican cartel and drug transports between the United States and Mexico.
GTA 5 has been the fastest selling video game in history after it earned $800 million during its first day on sale and topping $1 billion after a mere 3 days. the game is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows.
