The Billboard Music Awards 2015 were held on Sunday, May 17, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Taylor Swift topped the nominations with 14 entries across 13 categories and was closely followed by Sam Smith (13), Iggy Azalea (12), and Meghan Trainor (9).

Aside from wining eight of her 14 entries, the 25-year-old also went home with the fan-voted Billboard Chart Achievement Award Presented By Samsung Galaxy. She beat out her competition, namely Iggy Azalea and Meghan Trainor.
"I wanna shout out of course to Iggy [Azalea] and Meghan [Trainor] because they're amazing, I'm just happy to be in the same category," quoted Mirror UK of the artist. She continued to say, "This is such a good night. What EVEN!"
