After success of both the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S6 Edge, the South Korean company is reportedly upgrading its Samsung Galaxy Note 5 smartphone features. The latest version of the Samsung's flagship phablet -- which incorporates phone functionality and tablet capabilities -- is said to be coming earlier than expected with souped up specs.
In a report sure to get fans excited, while the next-generation phablet is expected to launch during the 2015 IFA in September, we could be seeing the Note 5 land as early as July. Korean outlet WhoWired claims that Samsung plans to announce the Galaxy Note 5 two months ahead of its usual timeline. Note devices have been unveiled a day before the IFA opening in Berlin every September since 2011.
The move is said to be a strategy to shorten the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus demand, take a piece of Apple's massive sales and make the phablet available before Apple's next-gen mobile device. Another major project to be released alongside the Note 5 is Samsung Pay, the company's own mobile payment system.

Like the latest model in the Galaxy S series, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be powered by an Exynos SoC and not one provided by Qualcomm."
There are still rumors abound, especially a prototype currently doing rounds within the marketplace, according to Sam Mobile. Other features for the new Note 5 would be Galaxy Note Edge version, which would have a curved screen. There is also a rumor of having either a 2k or 4k screen resolution.
