The owners of the game title WWE, Take-Two, had recently announced its latest version of the game, "WWE 2K16" would be available in the market by October 27.
The announcement was made by during the an investor's filing of Take-Two Interactive, parent company of 2K Games, reported Polygon. The annual wrestling game's next title would be made available for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.
IGN adds that the revenues of Take-Two reached $ 1.7 billion which is lower than the value earned from 2014. During the same period last year, the company reported earnings topping $ 2.4 billion. The sales were said to have been driven earnings from the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of "Grand Theft Auto V".
With regards to gameplay details, per AttackoftheFanBoy, only a few details have been revealed. While the official game roster isn't revealed until August, some wrestlers have announced via social media that they've been scanned for the game. The characters include Sasha Banks, Rosa Mendes and Zack Ryder, to name a few.
Relatedly, an analysis by WhatCulture outlined a number of features that most gamers want inthe WWW 2k16 title. These include having a Create a Diva option, blood graphics and the Create a Title mode among other things. There's also clamor for an "Arcade" version of the game, a Create an Arena mode and the slick hair graphics of previous game versions. There are also requests for the return of the Gimmick match types, updating of the current attire of the characters and the return of the so-called "Attitude Era" mode.
One of the most-anticipated features of the game would be a career mode written by Spike Lee, the Oscar nominated director, shared Polygon.
In addition to WWE 2K16, NBA 2K16 is also expected to drop, Take-Two Interactive has teased that 2K Games has a unannounced triple-A game under development.
WWE 2K16 will be released on October 27 in North America only and per Take-Two, international release dates will be three days later on the October 30.
