Online gaming authority IGN dropped a bomb for gamers all over the world when it released a report about the release date for the Master Chief Collection version of Halo 3: ODST. According to the news, IGN got the details from Xbox.com saying the collector's item version of the popular game will drop in the next couple of days.
The latest offering of Halo 3 will join its other Halo brothers which went through the same process as part of the Xbox One collection for both US and the UK. The game's producer, 343 Industries, also provided a free add-on for gamers as an appreciation for their patience during the game's bumpy start. The game had a slow start and went through a couple of updates. Because of these issues, gamers waited for at least 3 hours before the game will get them a potential player to play with.
According to Ubergizmo, the downloadable game is 8.1GB in size and will be available in the market this coming May 29th of 2015. At this point, there were no further details given aside from the free game (Halo 3: Master Chief Collection) and the release date. Having said that, the price of the game is still a big question, however, it is logically predicted by game experts that it won't veer away from its predecessors.
The Xbox game was released in 2009 and was an instant hit for serious and occasional gamers alike. The plot of the story revolves on a UNSC Orbital Drop Shock Trooper who must locate his missing squad members in the fictional place, New Mombasa, following a devastating slip space rupture by a Covenant Cruiser. However, the game was plague by bugs and glitches that has made the game virtually unplayable. This time, everyone's crossing fingers for the game to do way better, especially Halo followers.
