Comic-inspired movies are the thing in the mid-2000s, Ant-Man will be out soon and the next installment of Captain America will be hitting the theaters days after that. Not to mention the Avenger movies that swept the box office world recently. Apparently, Marvel has no plans in stopping to make comic book-inspired movies as filmmaker Scott Derrickson just revealed that he is currently reading tons of materials about Doctor Strange in anticipation of the movie that they are brewing which will star Benedict Cumberbatch.
As Cinemablend reported, the film will be based on the personification of Death in a three-phase installment. In case you're wondering who wants to deal with Death in comic books, then the answer will probably raise your heartbeats, Thanos. It is easy to predict that once Thanos is put in any Marvel film, regardless of which it was or what the movie is, it will bring only one thing, The Infinity Gauntlet.
However, according to Geeky Rant, at this point nothing is concrete yet with regards to the Doctor Strange - Thanos - Avengers - Infitinity Gauntlet connection, but surely Derrickson knows how to stir the minds of the audience, most especially when he pulled off a twitter post of the 1974 issue of Doctor Strange Meets...Death!
Doctor Strange is booked to hit theaters on November 4, 2016, and it will bring us to parallel dimensions and dealings with enchantment. From now on, we're going to hear more about these Infinity Stones and Thanos, particularly teased during an Age of Ultron mid-credits scene.
