2K Confirms Release Date and Pre-order Bonuses for NBA 2K16

In the heat of the NBA Finals Fever, NBA 2K16 developer, 2K Sports, has confirmed that the release of the much anticipated sports game will be on September 29, 2015 in the United States and Europe, IGN reported. It might be a little bit too far from now but those who pre-ordered the game might have made the right decision.

According to reports, freebies will be given to those who ordered the game early, such as 10,000 VC (Virtual Currency), three MyTeam Emerald Packs, and a limited last-gen MyTeam Gold Booster Pack with a guaranteed Gold Player and four additional gold items.

Also, according to Game Crate, those who pre-order will receive the game four days prior to the release in the market. NBA 2K Vice President for Marketing, Alfie Brody, also highlighted the game's newest feature that includes uncanny realistic gameplays and characters. Brody also said during the press release that the team is constantly seeking new avenues to excite and ignite gamers.

With this confirmation from the 2K Executive, it is expected that the game will feature a full body scan, which is a major improvement from last year's full face scan. The game also revolutionized the NBA game franchise in general as it brings reality to the table. 2K Sports was the first to introduce full face scan of each player that brings the computer generated in-game character relatively close to the player. With the full body scan feature, if it is indeed true, 2K Sports will be again miles ahead of their competitors as it will bring a close-to-reality in-game character look and feel.

The game will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. It will also showcase three different covers: current and reigning league MVP Stephen Curry, James Harden, and Kevin Durant.
